Shattered Reflections

You are a character from a different far away game. Nothing like your own. You don’t fit in necessarily, you are trying to find your way back home. In your world, you use mirrors to fast travel. By some mistake in the code in your game, you entered a mirror to a different world. You were all alone in a completely unidentified territory. A different game. But when you smashed through the mirror, you found it…the Prototype. 

This new game seems to be some ruins of a once very populated place. However, you still have items that you have taken with you from your world. Mirrors. In your world, as mentioned, mirrors would act as a portal to different areas; fast travel. When you were suddenly ripped from your game, you lost the rest of your mirrors. Scattered through the ruinous castle and dungeons, your mirrors are hiding away. When you find them, breaking the mirror leads you to the bounds of this game. The prototype. It's as if this game doesn’t want you to or simply cannot compute the use of a foreign item, so it spits you out like a virus. Use the mirrors to enter into this prototype world to pass through impassible objects and levels in the ruins and dungeons, and maybe you will find your way back to your own game, your home.
